To view the SMS configuration option, go to the System Options window and choose the SMS Configuration panel.
The SMS configuration can be activated using one of these three providers: Clickatell, BulkSMS, and Twilio. Enabling the SMS configuration option poses certain challenges that the broker should take into account.
- These SMS providers are accessible in your area.
- The selected SMS provider is compatible with mobile data carriers.
- Sufficient SMS balance is available to send messages to clients.
- Insert the active client’s mobile number in client settings, without using the symbols “+” or “00.”
With this option, you will be able to configure your SMS settings for your client(s).
The SMS configuration contains the following option:
- Enable SMS:
When you enable this option, it allows you to utilize the SMS configuration. Conversely, if you disable this option, it prohibits its use.
- Provider Name:
Within our options, we have three external service providers: CLICKATELL, BULKSMS, and TWILIO. You are able to activate only one of these providers concurrently.
- Receiver mobile number:
Input a number into this field to test message reception before sending messages to your clients.
If you wish to use the CLICKATELL provider, you must first create an account on their website. Once you obtain the API Key, input it into this field. Tick the “Activate” checkbox and then click on “Save.”
If you wish to use the BULKSMS provider, you’ll need to start by creating an account on their website. Once you have the Username and Password, enter this information into the designated field. Check the “Activate” box and proceed to click “Save.”
If you wish to use the TWILIO provider, begin by creating an account on their website. After obtaining the Sender, Account SID, and Authentication Token, input this information into the specified field. Ensure to mark the “Activate” box and then click “Save.
Irrespective of your chosen provider among the three mentioned above, you can test message reception by entering your mobile number in the designated field at the bottom. Afterward, click “Test” before proceeding to send messages to your clients.
